Does Duke Volleyball Camp provide scholarships or financial assistance?
Unfortunately, we are limited by NCAA regulations and are unable to provide financial assistance to our camp.
Duke Volleyball Camp offers a Duke Employee Discount ($30 off) and a Sibling Discount ($50 off the second sibling). Before you complete your registration, please contact our main office at firstname.lastname@example.org for a promo code if you qualify for either of these discounts.
What role does our current coaching staff play in daily camp activities?
Head Coach Jolene Nagel and Assistant Coach Cristina Pintilie are very involved with the camp. They are around the camp daily and work with campers during each session directly.
What if my camper loses her key at camp?
The camp is financially responsibly to Duke University the day after each camp session ends for the replacement of locks for any missing keys. If you or your camper do not turn in your key by check-out, we will keep the $125 key deposit sent in at registration. The camp does not profit from the collection of these fees, all $125 goes directly to the university to cover the replacement of locks and keys. If a camper looses their key during camp, please notify a camp counselor IMMEDIATELY so that we can begin the search process for the room key. We are often able to find the key if we can immediately retrace steps.
Where will the daily camp sessions take place?
The gyms that we will use for camp are all located on Duke’s West Campus. The following gyms will be used for camp: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Card Gym and Wilson Gym.
Due to the September 11th tragedies, Airport security has been heightened. Therefore we will not be able to meet you at the gate, nor will we be able to stop at the curbside and wait for campers. Go to the baggage area where we will have a Duke Volleyball Camp representative there to meet and direct you to the shuttle. A van with a sign in the window indicating Duke Volleyball Camp will pick you up there. We appreciate your cooperation.
